The Aggie Catch Can “Device” is a modified graduated cylinder used for conducting an Irrigation System Test. By conducting an Irrigation System Test (or a “catch can” test), irrigators can make better use of water resources by scheduling irrigation events more efficiently. Conducting an Irrigation System Test is very simple when using the Aggie Catch Can. This device measures irrigation volumes in both Milliliters (ml) and Inches (in).
The Aggie Catch Cans are sold through the AgriLIFE Bookstore in Units of 12 as Can and Stand Sets or Cans Only
The Aggie Irrigation Catch Can was developed by the Irrigation Technology Center and Texas AgriLIFE Extension Service, Texas A&M System as part of the Rio Grande Basin Initiative (http://riogrande.tamu.edu).
