Frequently Asked Questions

How is the TCEQ notified?

Tracking of course completion is through the Texas A&M System. Upon successfull completion of the course, the sponsoring Texas AgriLIFE Extension Service program (Texas A&M School of Irrigation) will issue a certificate of completion to the registrant and send confirmation of earning 8 CEUs to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality(TCEQ). CEU's are sent electronically to TCEQ generally within 7-10 after course completion.

How long do I have to complete the course?

Once you have enrolled for the course, you have one month (30 days) to complete the course.

What if I don't finish the course in the alloted time frame?

In the event a student does not complete all modules of the course in the allotted time frame, the student may choose to register for the course again.

Is there travel involved for this course?

All required reading and testing is from your home or office computer,so NO TRAVEL IS REQUIRED.

Do I have to complete the entire course at one time without a break?

You do not have to complete the entire course in one sitting in front of your computer. The course is organized in 4 modules and your progress is tracked by module completion. There is a short quiz at the end of each module. Any modules you successfully complete during one session will be marked as "COMPLETE" when you return to continue the course.

What do I do to successfully complete the course?

To successfully complete the course, you must earn a 100% passing grade on each of the four module quizzes and the final on-line completion test. However, you can return to the quiz questions again and re-take the test.

I cannot find the passwords for the quizzes?
The passwords for the quizzes are located at the end of every chapter.

I cannot view the .pdf files?

In order to view the .pdf files you need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader click the link on the course homepage.

I cannot view the videos?

In order to view the videos you need Adobe Flash Player. If you do not have Adobe Flash Player click the link on the course homepage.

How can I view my progress in the course?

On the upper left hand side of the screen there is a box titled "Administration," in the box there is a link to view your current grades.

The certificate is not being generated?

In order for the certificate to generate you need to successfully complete (100%) all of the quizzes and the Final Exam.

When will I get my TCEQ certificate?

Once you have completed the course (100%), it will generate a temporary certificate. When the certificate is generated we will be notified and your official TCEQ certificate will be mailed to you within 30 days of completion.

I am selecting the correct answer in the quiz but it is marking the question wrong?

Be sure to read the question carefully, if you are determined that there is an error please contact us and we will take a look at the problem.
